Pricing

Hanging items

Supplies needed

Our PRICING GUIDE is available to help get you started and has tips on how to prepare items other than clothing. All items must be priced by the seller (unless you are using our Busy Mom Full Service option.)    As a general rule, consider the original retail price -- whether you paid the original or not -- and take around 75 % off. If it is a "boutique" item or a current brand that is highly desirable you can price it a little higher. The same is true for items New with Tags.

Pricing Guide

Hanging items

  • Items must be clean and in working order
  • Use a descriptive tag and attach with painter's tape or address labels.
  • Watch the video above to see how to make multiple misc. tags/labels if you don't want to inventory small/loose items.
  • Small parts must be bagged/taped closed and attached to the main part very securely.
  • Small toys may be grouped into Ziploc bags secured with clear packing tape. It is also good to write your consignor number and price on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off.

Hanging items

  • We highly recommend you watch the video above.
  • Tags are to be placed on the upper right side of the clothing and pinned in the middle of the tag to withstand light tugging.
  • Hang everything like a "?" when looking at the front of the garment.
  • Hang PANTS AND SKIRTS from the top of the hanger and NOT along the bottom “bar.” Move pins closer to the top of the hanger for larger sizes. Pant hangers work great, too. (sized correctly, of course)
  • TOPS, DRESSES, & JACKETS should be ON the hanger, with the hanger INSIDE the garment. Larger shirts should be secured by looping the hanger through the item tag or with clothes pins.
  • Use only one hanger for TWO-PIECE OUTFITS. Hang the shirt first, then turn the hanger over and pin the waist of the pants/skirt to the back of the shirt at the shoulder seams. Be sure the hanger is supporting the pants/skirt.

Games and Puzzles

Games and Puzzles

  • Shoes should be LIKE NEW and sell better when tied together using string or zip ties.
  • Remember, washing goes a long way! We ask that you write the SHOE SIZE on a bar code label and place your bar code inside EACH shoe. If you use tags (and not address labels) simply cut the bar code off the tag, write the shoe size, and tape that to the inside of the shoe.
  •  Ziploc bags are okay for infant sizes but not good for larger sizes.

Games and Puzzles

Games and Puzzles

Games and Puzzles

  • Games and boxed puzzles should have all the pieces and be taped closed.
  • Use a standard descriptive tag and secure it with painter's tape or use the address labels printing option.
  • Place puzzle pieces into ziplock bags and tape the bag to the back of the puzzle.
  • Another option is to wrap the completed puzzle in Saran wrap, then secure with tape.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...

Make sure your tags are printing clearly and won't fade. The more we have to hand enter, the more room for human error.

Make sure your item will not fall off the hanger by using the correct hanger size and clothes pins to hold larger/slippery shirts on the hanger.
